David was a pleasure to deal with not pushy, very relaxed and knows the vehicles. I phoned him on the Wednesday to arrange a visit in the Friday. He was very friendly and suggested other vehicles he may have that might meet our needs but to come and have a look. On arrival he left us to look around the car, leaving us the keys and allowed us a test drive. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I feel he was very honest with us and following a bad experience with a big chain I felt confident buying from him. I would recommend anyone looking for a BMW to give him a ring and see if he has anything to match your desires. I am thankful I travelled the 200 miles to see the car, which I bought. I would also say I phoned him when I got home to make sure he had received the money and he answered straight away and continued in the same manner as he was prior to purchasing. A true gent and if I need another BMW he will be at the top of the list to call.

I purchased my new car from David at Uplands Automotive a month ago and I cannot fault the level of service I experienced. My initial enquiry messages were responded to straight away (despite it being outside of normal working hours) and David was helpful and informative at our subsequent telephone conversations. I made a 600 mile round trip to collect my new car and deliver my part exchange. The car was exactly as described and the were no quibbles whatsoever regarding my part exchange. The transaction was very smooth and David has continued to be helpful in my contact with him since acquiring my car. Overall I'm really pleased with my new car and the service I received throughout the whole buying process and I can recommend Uplands to anyone.

Bought a 330d touring from David a month ago. I was apprehensive about travelling 350 miles to buy a car but it was exactly has had been described on the phone. The whole experience was like buying from a fellow car enthusiast, and not a salesman. He assisted me in travelling down and finding his premises, and when it came to the deal there was no bull, sales talk or mick taking nonsense we've traditionally come to loathe car dealers for, and no hassle or problems for either of us. The way it should be. And judging by the other reviews here I've no doubt if the car develops any problems he will be more than happy to sort it. David is clearly particular about every car he acquires to sell; he clearly only looks for tidy low mileage cars and won't sell rubbish. He even took time to show me and talk about some of his other stock after our deal was done. Highly recommended, especially if you're in the market for a 6 cylinder BMW!

Although only had my 330i a week I wanted to provide feedback for other potential buyers. From first telephone call it was clear that David understands BMW's and crucially the customer. Satisfied that car would be as described, with great comms in the preceding days, I traveled 400 miles and was not disappointed on arrival. Car prepared immaculately and drove beautifully. Same goes for his other stock of vehicles. David managed my expectations throughout the buying process and even though car developed a small issue on the long drive home, he arranged to put that right as soon as I flagged it. That is what I consider excellent 'after sales', which many traders sadly fail to grasp. Overall I cannot recommend David and Uplands highly enough and would not hesitate to return in the future.

Bought a 56 plate BMW 530i from David at uplands automotive. After looking for about 2 months I can across this car, had to travel about 30 miles but after speaking to David on the phone he assured me it was in great condition. I wasn't disappointed, the car was immaculate and drove fantastically. David was the easiest car dealer I've dealt with, no bulsh!t sales talk. He's very knowledgeable on bmw's aswel, leading up to buying this car I spoke to a few mechanics and read loads of forums on them. David regurgitated a lot of the information I'd already researched. when David was getting the car out of his lock up for me to test drive I had a look around at some of his other cars and I have to say that the dozen or so cars I looked at all looked immaculate. A month later my car is still running great and Iv had no nasty surprises. I took it to my mechanic last Friday to give it a once over and he said it's a very good clean car. I'll defo buy a car from him again.
